President Donald Trump slammed the Supreme Court justices who ruled against his ability to impose tariffs as “a disgrace to our nation,” “fools” and “lap dogs.”

In a remarkable address from the White House briefing room a few hours after the Supreme Court’s 6 to 3 decision came down, Trump — flanked by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick — called the ruling “deeply disappointing” and said he was “absolutely ashamed” of the justices who ruled against him.
