DNC Chair Ken Martin joined @ theweekendmsnow after Democrats flipped a seat in the Texas state Senate, with Democrat Taylor Rehmet winning 57% of the vote in a special election for state Senate District 9.

Rehmet, a union leader and Air Force veteran, won the Fort Worth–area seat over Republican Leigh Wambsganss.
