At least 12 people are dead or missing, including a baby girl who died from exposure to the cold, after torrential rain from storm Byron swept across the Gaza Strip this week. According to the UN International Organization for Migration, nearly 795,000 displaced people are at heightened risk of potentially dangerous flooding in low-lying, rubble-filled areas where families are living in unsafe shelters.
