Journalist Don Lemon was arrested for his involvement in a protest at a church in Minnesota, according to his lawyer and a U.S. Justice Department official familiar with the situation.

Lemon says he was there to cover the protest as a journalist. He previously spoke on the role of journalists at Reuters NEXT in December.
