Beneath a rusty bridge in the heart of the steel city, drivers are willingly lining up to tackle the most dreaded part of the driver’s test in the Pittsburgh Parallel Parking Championships. The contest was created by Dan Leber in 2021 who developed a complex formula to measure how a contestant parks. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY and gets behind the wheel to throw his hat into the ring.
