Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk took part in a wide-ranging discussion at the World Economic Forum on Thursday in Davos, Switzerland, giving his take on where he sees human civilization is headed.

He says the “overall goal of his companies is to maximize the future of civilization… maximize the probability that civilization has a great future. And to expand consciousness beyond Earth.”

Among the topics he discussed, Musk touched upon Artificial Intelligence, robotics and whether or not aliens exist.

He also said aging “is a very solvable problem” and the probability of extending life or “even reverse aging — I think that’s highly likely.”
