From Global News.
A British minister has joined Prime Minister Keir Starmer in calling on former Prince Andrew to testify before a U.S. congressional committee over his links to the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Steve Reed, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, said that, in addition to ex-Prince Andrew, anybody who has any insight or information about what went on should come forward.
New files related to Epstein published Friday by the U.S. Justice Department included emails that showed King Charles’s brother maintaining regular contact with Epstein for more than two years after he was found guilty of child sex crimes.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday, “I was told by some very important people that not only does it absolve me, it’s also the opposite of what people were hoping.” Trump also said he was considering legal action against author Michael Wolff and Epstein’s estate.
