Epstein testimony: What led to the Clintons’ appearance before Congress? | DW News

From DW News.

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to testify before a congressional committee investigating convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Former President Bill Clinton will also provide testimony, making him the first former president ever compelled to appear in a congressional investigation. This came about because Congress was on the verge of holding them in contempt unless they cooperated. Many public figures around the world have been named in the Epstein files, but no criminal charges have yet been filed.
