Yet another Conservative MP has crossed the floor to join Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberals.

Matt Jeneroux, first elected in 2015 as the Conservative for the riding of Edmonton-Riverbend, announced on Wednesday that he would join the Liberals, putting the party on the cusp of holding a majority of seats in the House of Commons.

Jeneroux is now the third Conservative, after Nova Scotia MP Chris d’Entremont and Toronto area MP Michael Ma, to switch to Carney’s Liberals.
