Patrick Sullivan, his wife Cynthia, and their son Tyler sailed from Cape Cod last weekend and anchored off the coast on Naushon Island. They were woken up by their dog warning them of a fire on board their boat. They leapt into the water and swam to a cove on a little-known island. The dog died after saving the family. Tyler found the boat’s radio washed up on the beach and shouted "Mayday!" They were rescued by the Coast Guard and medevaced to a hospital.
