From MSNBC.
One family is calling out ICE over the devastating detention that separated a father from his sick son. Wael Tarabishi, who lived with a rare muscular condition, depended on his father Maher for full-time care. After Maher was detained during a routine ICE check-in in Texas, Wael’s health quickly declined and he passed away last week. Shahd Arnaout, Wael’s sister in law, joined MS NOW’s The Weekend: Primetime to talk about the family’s pain and how ICE denied Maher’s request to attend his son’s funeral.
