Farmers struggle as drought hits their lands hard in Iraq

Rainfall in Iraq has given farmers brief relief from drought conditions they have been battling.But they warn that much more water is needed to keep their crops growing. The rivers that supply this semi-autonomous Kurdish region of Iraq with water do not start here. Turkey is the source of the Tigris, and the Euphrates River and Iran controls the flow of the Little Zab and Sirwan rivers.
