Flooding caused by Typhoon Bualoi has left thousands of families cut off in villages in central Vietnam. The typhoon made landfall late on Sunday, packing winds of 130 kilometres (80 miles) per hour, and remaining over land for almost 12 hours. At least 19 people have been killed.
