Olympic medalist Jesper Tjader of Sweden made it through the freeskiing slopestyle qualifying round at the Milano Cortina Winter Games to set up a showdown against tough competition in the final in the Italian Alps on February 10.

Tjader told Reuters the course in Livigno was pretty “simple,” but that it spurs creativity.
