French President Emmanuel Macron is welcomed to Saarbrücken, Germany, by Chancellor Friedrich Merz, where the two will attend the German Unity Day celebrations. This year, Germany marks 35 years since reunification, following the fall of the Berlin Wall on October 3, 1990.
