A lockdown in Puerto Vallarta is ongoing, leaving thousands of Canadians stranded in their hotels and resorts.
 
This includes a resident of Vancouver, John Snyder, who is currently stuck in the "Romantic Zone," the area where the worst violence from Sunday’s cartel activities took place. He captured photos of the chaos and destruction on the streets as he made it back to his home on Sunday. 
 
He joins Global News morning to talk about what he witnessed Sunday and what’s happening down there now.
