From USA TODAY.
Erika Kirk delivered a speech at a Turning Point USA event night at the University of Mississippi, telling stories of her husband’s legacy. Kirk spoke before Vice President JD Vance spoke and took questions as the late Kirk did on campuses nationwide.
The event comes just weeks after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a campus appearance in Utah — an incident that has reignited national debate over free speech, campus safety and political violence. The stop at Ole Miss is part of Turning Point USA’s “This Is the Turning Point” tour and among the first major events the group has held since Kirk’s death. Organizers expect a large turnout.
