Only a fraction of Palestinians expected to return to Gaza through the Rafah crossing have been allowed back in. The crossing, the only land border between Egypt and Gaza, partially reopened to let a limited number of people cross both ways as part of the first phase of a US-brokered ceasefire. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, around 20,000 people with medical referrals are still waiting for permission to travel for treatment. Those who have managed to return describe an arduous and exhausting journey. CNN’s Nic Robertson reports.
