Immigration attorney Eric Lee reads a heartbreaking statement from the El Gamal family, his clients who have been detained at Dilley Detention Center for more than nine months. This week, they sent letters and drawings to the Senate Judiciary Committee describing the conditions inside and pleading for their release. “Freedom is a human right and we are begging for it,” one of the letters reads.
