Hazardous and severe cold warnings issued for much of Canada east of Alberta

Millions of Canadians are bundling up as a powerful Arctic air mass tightens its grip on much of the country.

Environment Canada has issued yellow and orange weather warnings from Alberta all the way to the Maritimes and Labrador.

In some areas, wind chills are expected to make it feel minus 50 degrees.
