The US Department of Justice has released millions of files relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and his contact with some of the world’s most influential people has already been the source of dozens of major news stories. The files themselves were not released in an easily accessible way, so AFP’s international team of journalists has faced the challenge of how to efficiently access the files, and how to check if what they contain is newsworthy.
