Hundreds evacuated after typhoon’s remnants hit western Alaska

From NPR.

Hundreds of residents of coastal villages in western Alaska are being evacuated after being hit by the remnants of a typhoon over the weekend. One person was killed, two more people are missing, and many don’t know where they’ll end up or whether they will ever be able to return to their home communities.

State officials are rushing to get aid to the area with winter just weeks away.
