U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acting director Todd Lyons, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott, and Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Joseph Edlow will testify before the House Homeland Security Committee during a hearing on oversight.

This comes after intense scrutiny and condemnation over the administration’s recent crackdown in Minneapolis.

The shooting of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents has led to increased calls for congressional oversight of the administration’s immigration operations.

Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s funding will run out on Friday if no action is taken.
