ICE shooting: Vigils, protests across Minneapolis after woman killed

Protests are taking place across Minneapolis Thursday after an unarmed U.S. citizen was shot and killed by federal ICE agents.

The Trump administration claims the ICE agents were acting in self-defence. That’s being disputed by local police and eyewitnesses.

At issue is whether the ICE agent who opened fire was in danger when the woman, who was fatally shot, pulled away in her vehicle.

The shooting occurred just blocks away from where George Floyd was murdered.
