A chemical leak at a Canmore, Alta., pool last Sunday, where around 30 kids were waiting for treatment when the fire rescue team arrived, remains under investigation.

New documents obtained by Global News show that at least one of the 11 children involved in the incident was treated for exposure to a toxic gas.

Officials say an air monitor detected a high level of chemicals in the pool, which they believed to be chlorine.
