The potential for an all-out war between the United States and Iran still remains on the table. During his State of the Union address on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a direct warning to Iran to give up its nuclear desires.

In response, Iran pushed back Wednesday against Trump’s pressure tactics ahead of critical talks in Geneva over Tehran’s nuclear program, calling his remarks “big lies."

Trump told the American people his preference is diplomacy, but as Reggie Cecchini explains, the massive military buildup around Iran may say otherwise.
