Iran launched missile and drone strikes across the Gulf on Saturday in retaliation for U.S. and Israeli attacks targeting Tehran’s leadership and military infrastructure.

Bahrain’s government said the service centre of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Manama was hit, while the United Arab Emirates reported intercepting incoming projectiles.

The UAE’s foreign ministry said one person was killed by falling debris in Abu Dhabi.

Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan also reported intercepting missiles as Iran’s retaliation extended to Gulf states that host U.S. military forces.
