Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday the armed forces are acting "with power" to destroy enemy bases and will leave enemies "hopeless."
 
Pezeshkian said the Interim Leadership Council has begun its work under Article 111. 
 
Earlier on Sunday, Pezeshkian released a statement, read out on state media, that vowed revenge for the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, aged 86, in air strikes by Israel and the U.S.
