Jamaicans prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Melissa. The US National Hurricane Center (NHC), based in Miami, reports that the storm has reached Category 4 strength, with winds of up to 225 kilometers per hour, and could soon intensify into a Category 5, the highest level.
