After 13 fatal bear attacks made headlines, a long-standing mountain dish is suddenly in demand nationwide, with diners flocking to try bear meat cooked on stone slabs and in hot pots.
Experts believe the crisis is driven by a fast-growing bear population, combined with a falling human population and poor acorn harvest pushing bears to seek food elsewhere.
