U.S. President Donald Trump spoke for nearly two hours during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, where he hailed his own record, while also keeping true to his past as a media personality.
 
Although Trump’s address seemed to focus on the economy, it didn’t align with the average American’s view. Plus, the longest round of applause for the night came at a point when Donald Trump said, “The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”
