Lindsey Vonn to Compete in Olympics Despite Ruptured ACL

American skiing legend Lindsey Vonn says she still plans to take part in the women’s downhill at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics despite tearing the ACL in her left knee during a crash at a World Cup race in Switzerland a little over a week ago. Vonn has always raced the edge, returning after nearly six years away from competition following a reconstruction of her other knee. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports for TODAY.
