LIVE: Attorney General Pam Bondi facing Epstein questions from US lawmakers | BBC News

From BBC News.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi is testifying to lawmakers about her justice department’s work, members of the House Judiciary Committee are likely to focus on the release of the Epstein files.

The Justice Department has been criticised for the release, which missed legal deadlines and failed to properly redact the identities of all the victims.

The scope of questioning is not limited to the Epstein investigation, and Bondi could be asked about a number of high-profile investigations and legal matters.

This could include the investigation into the fatal shooting of two US citizens in Minneapolis; the seizing of voting records from Fulton County, Georgia; and the failed attempt to indict six sitting Democrat lawmakers for a video telling military personnel to refuse illegal orders.
