From Global News.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of crown jewels from Paris’ Louvre Museum, one week after a brazen daylight heist.

A police official said Sunday that one of the suspects was taken into custody while trying to board a plane bound for Algeria.

The manhunt for the suspects started last Sunday after thieves stole jewels valued at US$102 million. The museum’s director called the incident a “terrible failure.”
