Despite a complex and uncertain housing market, most Canadians still dream of home ownership.

A recent poll conducted by RBC in January found 67 per cent of Canadians say they’ve always longed to own a home – an increase of five per cent since 2025.

Sixty-two per cent of respondents said they were close to achieving that goal.
