New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani confirmed to NBC News on Sunday that he believes President Trump is a fascist.
His remarks come after his meeting with Trump on Friday, during which Trump joked that Mamdani "can just say yes" when the mayor-elect was asked if he thinks the president is a fascist.
"That’s something that I’ve said in the past. I say it today," Mamdani said to NBC’s Kristen Welker.
