Medicare Cost Comparison | Advantage vs Supplement

From The Retirement Nerds.

Which will cost you more in 2026? A Medicare Supplement Plan or a Medicare Advantage Plan?

We look at what your fixed and variable costs will be with an average Medicare Supplement Plan G, Plan N, and High Deductible Plan G vs a zero dollar Medicare Advantage plan.

The numbers we use are average costs nationwide. We do not address all of the positives and negatives of each plan (Supplement and Advantage). There are things outside of strictly dollars to consider with these plans. Always work with an agent on this decision.
