Mexico deploys Army and National Guard troops in the state of Sinaloa after two lawmakers were shot and ten workers at a Canadian-owned mine were kidnapped. The deployment of 1,600 military personnel coincided with a phone call between President Claudia Sheinbaum and her US counterpart to discuss security and trade.
