From Global News.

A family in central Alberta is celebrating after their missing dog was found nearly three months after running off near Calmar.

Six-year-old German shepherd cross, Chilli, disappeared into the woods, prompting an extensive search by family and friends.

With help from a scent rescue team from B.C., Chilli was located in less than 48 hours using trail cameras and a humane trap.

"She steals everybody’s heart," owner Jody Toope said of her beloved dog now safely back home. Global’s Jasmine King reports.
