When experiencing a so-called “grandparent scam,” a senior gets a call from someone posing as a grandchild in distress asking for help.

One New Brunswick woman is now anxious about fraudsters and is questioning why police can’t do more to stop them, so she’s using her experience to warn others to be on alert.
