There’s a cheating scandal at the Olympics — but it’s not related to a sport. Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Laegreid apologized to his gold medal-winning teammate Johan-Olav Botn after stealing the spotlight in a stunning post-race interview, where he admitted to cheating on his girlfriend in a bit to win her back.

Laegreid cried as he told Norwegian state broadcaster NRK that he had been unfaithful and his girlfriend had ended the relationship when he told her about it. Reporter Philip O’Connor is covering biathlon and brings details on the story.
