There was a debate last night among the candidates running for mayor in New York City.
Democratic frontrunner Zohran Mamdani was the main target, facing blistering attacks from former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who’s running as an independent, and Republican Curtis Sliwa, who criticized Mamdani’s membership in the Democratic Socialists of America, and his past calls to defund the NYPD.
Mamdani, meanwhile, kept his focus on pocketbook issues and the city’s high prices.
