A person of interest is in custody in connection with the shooting at Brown University, officials said early Sunday. The Saturday shooting, which happened during a final exam review session at the private Ivy League university, left two students dead and nine others injured. A CNN crew witnessed heavy police activity overnight at a hotel in the Providence, Rhode Island, area that law enforcement officials at the scene said was “connected” to the shooting. A shelter-in-place order that was in effect for much of the campus after the shooting has been lifted, the university said Sunday morning.
