Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) are expected to release the results of a “complex and lengthy investigation” Wednesday related to auto thefts.

The report involves a “criminal organization” moving stolen vehicles from Canada to destinations overseas, and will be delivered by representatives from both organizations in Mississauga, Ont.

Over the last several years, auto theft in Canada has become a prominent issue. Many have gone unfound, while others have been traced to ports across the nation.
