Leqaa Kordia is the last known person in ICE detention following the 2024 Gaza solidarity protests in and around Columbia University’s campus. The Palestinian woman has been held in ICE confinement in Texas for nearly one year after protesting for Palestinian rights. Her lawyer says 200 members of her family were killed in Gaza by Israel. She is being held 1,500 miles away from her family and says she has suffered seizures in detention.
