At least one person died and dozens were injured after protesters against crime and corruption in Peru clashed with police in riot gear. The youth-led protests have been going on for weeks. The protesters are demanding an end to corruption, cronyism and rising crime. Their anger is directed at Congress, the police, and newly appointed President Jose Jeri.
