In 1980, Tan Trinh was just 11 years old when his random act of kindness unexpectedly brought him to Canada as a Vietnamese refugee. Today, he has 3 successful restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area. The restaurants are called Phở Ngọc Yến with each dish and piece of décor paying tribute to his homeland and the Canadians who helped him along the way. Liem Vu has that story.
