From Global News.
During question period on Thursday, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Prime Minister Mark Carney’s speech to Canadian youth, stating, "Apparently, nobody over there watched the depressing, miserable, hopeless speech," in which Carney warned of "sacrifices."
Poilievre said, "The youth of this country have sacrificed enough," highlighting issues like unaffordable housing, job scarcity, and significant debt burdens.
He then asked, "Will the Prime Minister introduce that budget so Canadians can restore the promise of our country?"
Steven MacKinnon, the Minister of Transport, responded by asking whether the Leader of the Opposition would support the budget that’ll provide young people across the country with the opportunity to confidently say "That’s where my future lies, in Canada."
