America is being hit by a wave of pumpkin porch pirate heists. Jess Groleau says someone absconded with two pumpkins that her daughter, Leah, had grown on the family’s property in Michigan. The mother says the day after she posted the video of the pumpkins being stolen, the man who took the pumpkins brought them back, looked into the camera and apologized. With all the Halloween heists, one police department advised people to keep an eye on jack-o’-lanterns and consider securing them.
