From AFP News Agency.
Protesters march through Giessen, a town north of Frankfurt, as police line the streets around a meeting to launch a new youth wing of the far right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Supporters in the crowd say they fear extremism and rising radicalisation. The AfD became Germany’s main opposition after winning more than 20 percent in February’s election and is creating a new youth organisation after dissolving its previous one over extremism concerns.
